Disney Cruise Planner

This is a personal blog. All editorial content and projects are intellectual property of Taylor Stamped. I do receive financial compensation and material product from Moxxie and A Walk Down Memory Lane to develop my craft posts, but all ideas and opinions are my own. Some links are affiliate links.

My parents are taking my and my sister's family on a Disney Cruise next February. While we've known about it for quite a while, we finally let the boys in on the secret this summer. Now that they know about it, the planning can begin in earnest! I decided I needed a cute but functional place to organize things like packing and to-do lists, so I created this Disney Cruise Planner.

I started with a file to be cut on my Silhouette Cameo. The file is the 3D Accordion Organizer Book created by Jamie Cripps. I also knew I wanted to use Disney themed paper for the organizer, so I grabbed Moxxie's Magical Moments.

What really sold me on this planner was the accordion file area on the left hand side. What a great place to store different lists!

I made a few alterations to the original cutting file. I love using these little notepads for my list making, but the space wasn't quite tall enough. I altered the cutting file to allow a big enough space for my notepad, however this then made the length of the planner when open larger than 12" (it's now 13" long when full open). Since the Cameo can only cut up to 12" wide (and I only have paper 12" wide), I had to make a few adjustments. First, there is a chipboard base to this album. I wanted that to be 1 piece, so I measured, scored, and cut the chipboard by hand instead of using my Cameo to cut it. Additionally, the outside cover and inside liner of the cover needed to be cut in 2 pieces, instead of 1 continuous piece now as well. On the inside I hid the overlapping seams under the notepad.

On the outside, the overlap happens on the spine, and I just hid it with a little decorative strip of paper.

I'm super excited to use this to start organizing all my plans for the cruise. Planning is so much more fun when you have a cute place to do it!

Thanks for stopping by!
